About Us

History

The Cideco name has been associated with the Development and Construction business in the United States, Middle East and Africa. Cideco International was founded after WW2 by Mat Zukerman in Israel. In 1959 he branched out and opened several construction offices in Nigeria and Kenya, building residential and commercial public projects, with emphasis on Design and Construction.

Cideco Inc. was formed in Knoxville Tennessee in June of 1975 by Haim Zukerman. He has been involved in housing and commercial projects in nine states. Although his focus has been on shopping centers, he has developed office buildings, condominium and apartment complex's, and single family homes.

Cideco Development Company, Inc. is managed and owned by Benjamin Barak Zukerman who joined the business in 2002 after graduating from Georgia Tech and the University of Tennessee School of Architecture with his Masters. He is continuing a longstanding tradition of quality commercial developments throughout the South East.

Architecture

Our background in Architecture and City Planning has helped us develop and design shopping centers and planned communites. In addition to over half a dozen residential communities in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee, we have had a hand in historic renovations and in charitable work for community centers and more. Acquisitions

Cideco is actively seeking New Development and Re-Development opportunities in the Southeast. We are lookint for Neighborhood Shopping Centers on any size and occupancy level, vacant land for commercial and residential construction, and existing buildings for re-development.
